Biocomposite Material with Eggshell

  • Class: Spring 2022, Professor Beau Bree Rhee
    • Ingredients:
      • 3 Tbsp Water 
      • 1 Tbsp Gelatin
      • 4 Tbsp Crushed Eggshells
    • Boil eggshells to remove bateria, dry eggshells in the sun or the oven on low heat, grind eggshells 
    • Mix gelatin in water until fully dissolved
    • Put on medium heat stir until a thicker consistency
    • Incorporate eggshell (work quickly!) 
    • Add more water if necessary to mix all ingredients
    • Immediately pour into mold 
    • Let dry for approximately 2 days
